Nursery, Reception and Year 1 Visits to Greenmeadow Farm

The deadline to pay the remaining balance on the Nursery visit to see Father Christmas is Monday 27th November 2017. Similarly, the deadline to pay for the Reception and Year 1 visit to see Father Christmas is Monday 27th November 2017. No payments will be taken for either after this date. Deposits for Nursery trip are non refundable unless we are able to find someone to take your place.

Water Voles - Mr P Smith

Croeso i Water Voles!

The class teacher for the Water Voles class is Mr P Smith, with him is Mrs C Hall.

 

Our topics this year are:

 

Autumn Term:

Predators- We will be learning about animals and their habitats as well as food chains.

Mighty Metals - We will be learning about different metals and there properties.

 

Spring Term:

Scrumdiddlyumptious- We will be learning about everything chocolate.

Gods and Mortals - We will be looking at important figures and the roles they had.

 

Summer Term:

Myths and Legends- We will be looking and famous Myths and Legends looking at where they originated.

Tremors - We will be finding out about Earthquakes and volcanos

 

 

Homework and PE

Our Homework day is as and when informed by Mr Smith and our PE day is a Tuesday.  Please ensure children have PE kit in school at all time.  Kit will be sent home at the end of each half term for washing.

 

 

Additional information about our class:

If any money is brought into school by your child can you ensure it is in an envelope clearly labelled with their name and class.   Please can you ensure any reading books that are taken home are returned so they can be changed.  If you have any queries, please don’t hesitate to come in and see me.
